The New Twiztid Album From Psychopathic Records Is The Horror Rap Groups Most Anticipated Release

To say that 2012 is a big year for both Psychopathic Records and the art from of horror rap as a whole would be a vast understatement. Sure, there have been instances in years past when a new Twiztid album and a new Insane Clown Posse album were both released, but the last time that happened was 2009.

In 2012, when Psychopathic Records and Horror Rap are more popular than theyve ever been before, and more well known than theyve ever been before, the release of the new Twiztid album (titled Abominationz) due out on October 23rd and the new Insane Clown Posse album, The Mighty Death Pop!, that came out on the 14th, this year is something special for Psychopathic Records.

Maybe Im alone in thinking this, but it would appear that despite all the hype behind Psychopathic Records release of The Mighty Death Pop!, a good amount of horror rap enthusiasts are actually more excited for the new Twiztid album than they are for The Mighty Death Pop!

There are several potential reasons for this buzz around the new Twiztid album. For one, many of the long time horror rap fans are skeptical about the quality of The Mighty Death Pop! Many of these fans, most very committed to anything Psychopathic Records puts out, were left lukewarm with ICPs last release, Bang! Pow! Boom! and now are writing off 2 Dope and Violent J as too old and soft to make any meaningful horror rap.

Similarly, these same Psychopathic Records and horror rap fans exist as such because they disdain mainstream culture, and its no underestimation to say that perhaps, in their eyes, ICP has been receiving too much attention from the public sphere as of late, whether for better or for worse.

On the other hand, the new Twiztid album (also horror rap-centric and also being released by Psychopathic Records) is arguably poised for strong sales numbers and fan appreciation. Sure, Spaniolo and Methric may be just as old as Ustler and Bruce of ICP, but they havent been worn out by an exhaustingly long career, and they havent been forced to fight mainstream scrutiny to nearly the extent that Bruce and Utlser have.

For those reasons alone, the new Twiztid album has a leg up on The Mighty Death Pop!: its creators arent worn out. Moreover, Twiztid, and every new Twiztid album for that matter, has always maintained dark horse status in the Psychopathic Records family. As was mentioned
earlier, horror rap fans and Psychopathic Records fans appreciate lesser-known art.

The new Twiztid albums title, Abominationz, has a title thats equally horror rap as The Mighty Death Pop!, but something tells me there will be fewer “soft” songs on Abominationz than The Mighty Death Pop! That is something all horror rap fans can look forward to.

Musical Instruments Of Colombia

Everybody deeply appreciate the great treasure that is Colombian musical instruments, such as Colombian tiple, made in coral wood, with clear lines and awesome authentic color, with twelve metal strings arranged in four courses. The ‘seis’ is a hybrid of the cuatro and a supplementary sixth course tunes a fourth below the usual fifth bottom course. It is also a very popular Colombian musical instrument. This feature allows an expanded bass range. It can be used also for guitar intervals as well, and it makes a awesome music, It sounds as a guitar, but sweeter, faster and louder.

Original Colombian music instruments
Spanish and African traditions are strongly represented in Colombian music. Traditional quena, a king of flute, and Spanish guitar are very popular. Colombian bandolina has fifteen strings and its sound is beautiful, sweet and clear. It is usually made by hand, of unexcelled quality. The marimba is another Colombian musical instrument; it looks like a xylophone and its keys are made in wood. The arpa is a local version of the harp, the guassa is a rattle. The songs from the Pacific coast are using drums and are tinged with Spanish influence. Due to the Spanish influence, piano music is also very popular in Colombia. The newest music style in Colombia is “valenato”, based on the European accordion.

Many Colombian musical instruments are beautifully crafted, from the ancient times until our century. The charango, a kind of guitar made in wood, the vessel whistle, the erkencho, a kind of clarinet, the chirimia, an oboe, are carefully made and original Colombian folk music sounds great with them. There are six ethnic zones in Colombia; the music is a hybrid between Indian roots and Spanish traditions. In some regions, there is also a strong Negro influence. Guitars, flutes and drums are always necessary; in the Caribbean zone the most important Colombian musical instrument is gaita, a kind of oboe. In Colombia, music is a tradition. London Cinema Listings

One look at London’s cinema listings, and you are wonder-struck at the sheer number of films Londoners devour every week. More than 120 movies are showing in London’s theatres at any given day, and about 80 films release there every week.

London cinemas screen almost everything under the sun, including classics, world cinema, short films, and Bollywood. BFI Southbank (located on Belvedere Road) is a big name for serious movie buffs. BFI Southbank was formerly called the National Film Theatre, is operated by the British Film Institute, and is also known for its screening of classics and foreign cinema. It also hosts the London Film Festival.

BFI IMAX, meanwhile, is the biggest screen in Britain. It is over 20 metres high and 26 metres wide, has 11,600 watts of digital surround sound, and seats 500. BFI also takes credit for being home to London’s smallest screen: the BFI South bank Studio has just 38 seats. Apollo Piccadilly Circus, Odeon Mezzanine, and Empire Leicester are other small-capacity cinemas.

Art movie connoisseurs need no introduction to Curzon, an art-house cinema chain has 6 cinemas across London. Independent films are patronized by Curzon as well.

Odeon Cinemas is one of the largest chain of cinemas in Europe, and has about 26 cineplexes in London. The Odeon West End in Leicester Square has hosted the London Film Festival for many years.

Another popular name to reckon with for cinemas is Riverside Studios, located on the banks of the River Thames (Hammersmith, London). Riverside is known for its double-bill screenings of foreign language and independent films. It hosts foreign language film festivals, too.

There are places where you can watch a movie child-free (at the Over 18s screenings), and places (for e.g., he Electric, Rio, Picturehouse, Rue, Odeon) where you can watch a film with a baby.

If Hindi movies are your staple, then head to the Himalaya Palace, Southall, Upton Park Boleyn, Harrow Safari or Willesden Belle Vue; or any of Cineworld’s cinemas at Feltham, Staples Corner or Ilford.

Interestingly, there are increasingly more things to do in London at the cinemas, than merely watch films. You now get to breathe in some culture in the city’s cinema halls some being Odeon, Curzon Cinemas and BFI – which have started screening opera and ballet. In fact, the Royal Opera House has launched a venture that will see some ballet and opera performances being screened in over 700 cinemas worldwide.
